Olean City School District Reviews
Not the ideal school for literature students looking for teaching or English professions. Great programs and diverse character.
There are only 2 elementary schools so class sizes have become larger. The Middle School has become Olean Intermidiate Middle School because 4-7 grade is there now. The High School is now 8-12 grades.
I liked the small classes. I would like to see more diversity. Better food in schools less discrimination and all seen as equals in the classroom.
My experience at Olean High was overall a good one. The teachers are all very nice and if you need help on a certain topic they are more than willing to stay after school or help you during a study hall. There are many different clubs to join, which is a great way to make new friends. There is such a great community the revolves around sports, there are always kids at football and basketball games, cheering on the team. The music department is also very good. There is a large participation in chorus, band, and orchestra. All of the music teachers are very nice and helpful. They teach you new things and help you when you are struggling.
At Olean high school, there are tons of clubs and great sports teams. They have a full music program and great art classes. There is literally a place for everyone!
