The staff at Clarenceville are very nice and dedicated. They very willing to help and be supportive. It is a small school with a big heart. The parents in the community are very much involved. I do wish for the facility to be improved a bit and more passing time between classes. Im provement can be made with the drinking fountains, most of them don not worl anymore. I want lunch at school to be improved since Michelle Obama is no longer the First Lady; we do not have to eat microwaved food because it is easier to keep the calories in check anymore. They have, however, increase lunch time which I appreciate eventhough I no longer go to the school. Clarencevill made me feel like home.

Oakland county is very diverse and the teachers are well prepared. I liked attending to schools here due to the interaction between teachers and students. Most teachers focus on the students and their well being. Multiple opportunities are provided for students to gain different skills and gain more knowledge.
I've never had a drastically bad experience in all the years i've attended Oakland schools, the lack of motivation in kids now a days within these schools is the problem, it's what makes them so unappealing. Violence has always existed but how is it that a single school can have attracted so many bad scenes to occur. I've heard a lot of ruckus from Pontiac High School, there's a lot of help needed in there. I don't fully blame the teachers for the lack of ownership nor the lack of motivation towards the children. They do have the potential to change and become a better environment for the future generation. The lack of resources provided to these student have been limited for ongoing years now. Majority of the students in these schools are on the right track, and have amazing academic abilities, these labels mean nothing if they continue to focus on their education.
