Oakfield School District Reviews
Being in the village of Oakfield with 1,075 people, you know everyone in your class whether you talked or not. You knew who was going to go on and do great things you also knew the best kid of each sport and even as small as Oakfield is there was a big diversity of backgrounds some kids grew up on the farm, others lived a slow life, some competed in pageants, others spent the weekends hunting or fishing. No matter what people say about Oakfield there's not a day I wish I switched schools Oakfield is a great learning environment with so many new and old organizations that are actually run by students and I mean that as a member and officer of the Oakfield FFA the students run the organizations and plan all activities. I am very thankful to grow up and go to Oakfield for my education.
On a social experience, Oakfield is great. Since it's a small school, everyone is very close to each other which can be a good thing and bad thing. You won't get the experience you get from Oakfield anywhere else. The only problem I have with Oakfield is that there aren't many choices for clubs and higher academic courses. There's also not a lot of diversity due to Oakfield being a small, rural school.
It was a great high school to attend. I really liked the small class size, it gave you more one on one time with the teachers, where you may not have that opportunity at larger schools. The teachers were always there to lend a helping hand and were extremely dedicated to helping out any student.
