Oak Ridge R-VI School District Reviews
I grew up in this school district and I loved it! All of the teachers were nice and helpful, the only negative thing I have to say is that the counselors don't do much so you have to find scholarships for yourself.
I like the atmosphere at Oak Ridge. It’s always very clean, you rarely see any trash anywhere. We also have a very good fan base. But I don’t like the class schedule. We also eat lunch very late which isn’t good because we aren’t allowed to have snacks in class. Another thing I don’t like is the no water bottle rule.
At Oak Ridge, the teacher and student relationships are incredible. I have teachers that I would absolutely tell anything and go to for advice. I have teachers that I am able to joke around with on a regular basis. It's a small school, so everybody knows everybody and their business, but you eventually don't mind it. I don't know that I've ever seen a true act of bullying, and I've been at Oak Ridge since kindergarten. Lunch is terrible, but hey, what can you do?
