Oak Hills is a great district! There are so many opportunities for kids in all of the schools. Some of the elementary schools have Spanish Immersion programs, and the high school has amazing opportunities in art, music, and STEM. There is an emphasis on college and career readiness.

My first experience with Oak Hills Local Schools was when I entered middle school after being home-schooled through fifth grade. I liked the opportunities for involvement, both in school and the community, which offered many chances to meet and get know others in the schools. At the high school, there's... a lot of people. Sometimes it could get overwhelming in the hallways with the sheer amount of traffic getting to and from classes. But Tartan Time (homeroom) was nice: it was the same people for all four years, so there was ample time to get to know them, but the bell also provided some very insightful lessons on life. There's very rich education here, almost to the point that they overload students with content/work (which could get stressful) -- but overall, I think they have a good curriculum.
Oakhills made my learning experience amazing and worth it. Teachers make learning fun and exciting. There are pros and cons to the actual school part. Pros being amazing clubs and resources and cons being no air conditioning so it makes it extremely difficult to focus. Overall love the school and the staff!
