A growing high-school with amazing teachers. The teachers have access to professional development each week and it has truly improved my experience as a student. All of my teachers are truly passionate about what they do and are always pushing students to explore their interests and be lifelong learners. The norwalk high school teachers are continually working to give their students lifelong skills and relate their subject to real life problems and students' interests, and it shows. Norwalk is a great school to go to!

The best thing about my experience at Norwalk Community High School was the emphasis on extracurricular involvement. The different activities I ended up being a part of were very important to my personal development. They taught me how to work hard, be a leader, and more. If I could improve something at Norwalk High School, I would improve the level of education we got about subjects students should be fully aware of. For example, mental health was hardly taught in the high school. As a high school student, we were only required to take a one semester health class. In that class, we discussed mental health for about two weeks, and then it was never discussed again in my high school career. Another subject I feel Norwalk High School should improve upon was the teaching of personal finance. We were only required to take one semester finance class during high school, and I learned very little that I could actually apply to life after high school.
I like how teachers/staff are focused on the well-being and education of the students, and the quality of the students' educations. The students have many opportunities for college prep, additional/supplementary education, or internship opportunities that the school assists with.
