Northwestern Regional School District No. 7 Reviews
Northwestern is a school with a lot of pride, and it deserves it. Our sports teams often go on to win championships, we have a large selection of AP classes, which has been recognized by the college board, and students like myself come out ready for the world ahead of them. The only complaint I have is not a factor that the school can control, it is the lack of diversity. Northwestern is a public school in rural CT, they try to accept as many students from diverse backgrounds as possible into the Ag department.
I loved every second I spent at Northwestern Regional. The faculty and students are truly one big family and they offer not only a high quality education, but an opportunity at finding oneself through countless clubs and activities. Having that combination is uncommon and special. Everyone at that school cares for and looks out for one another and the bonds made in those hallways and classrooms transcend that building.
As a first year in college, I now realize how well prepared I am because of my education at NWR7. The homework load seemed like a lot in high school, but it is the homework load that I receive in college. The teachers did well to prepare me for everything I needed to know for my basic GenEds, and I am so grateful for that. I have As in all of my classes because of the education I received in all of my high school classes because I have at least a basic understanding of all my subjects. Fundamentals are important, I now realize, and I'm so glad that NWR7 did well to prepare me for college.
