It's a school. Nothing too special about it and nothing glaringly horrible. Though, some teachers are less than stellar. Some teachers seem like they could care less about how the students learn and then be disappointed when the test scores aren't as high as they wanted. Some are more concerned with story-telling and talking with louder students than answering the questions of other students. Some teachers lack compassion and general empathy, drilling their material into the students, accusing them of not listening when they just don't understand, or just being bad teachers. Fortunately, there is nicer staff that happen to balance the others. These teachers would take the time to walk around and ask the student individually if they understand the subject well enough, conversate on a balanced level with the students, and are passionate in their area of study.
I recently graduated and I loved Carroll High School! Such a welcoming place with really great teachers and they really prepare you for the world outside of high school. I really enjoyed my experience and extra curriculars, I just wish my last two years weren't ruined by covid! Overall had an amazing 13 years in the NACS school system!
Exceptional school system to be in. I have one son graduated, and one as an incoming freshmen. They have gotten great educations with great academics and extracurriculars. Also, amazing staff members, all who deeply care for the students!
