This is a great school district and as a student I have loved my experience here. There are challenging classes in any subject and varying class courses with many amazing teachers that want to see their students succeed. Like any district, there are a few teachers that fall short, but generally the staff is amazing. The diversity is mediocre, however there are many different types of students and thinkers. The sports programs are well funded, as are most other clubs and activities. As an Inglemoor student, the only complaint I would give is the campus is horribly outdated. Overall, each high school has something unique to offer and the district provides many different ways to excel academically, athletically, musically, etc.
Northshore School District (NSD) does an exceptional job of providing resources and advanced placement opportunities for children of all ages. The Elementary Advanced Placement (EAP) program offered by NSD brought myself and my peers to achieve high honors throughout middle and high school. NSD also finally fixed the disconnect 9th graders in the junior high had from their respective high school by restructuring the elementary, middle, and high school grades. NSD is now elementary school K-5, middle school 6-8, and high school grades 9-12.
