Northfield School District Reviews

Now a college freshman, I felt that the teachers did not prepare me for the work load of college. One of my English teachers did a very nice job preparing me for the grading style of college, but besides that I felt behind when I entered college. I wish I had gotten a better preparedness in the sciences. Coming into college as a nursing major having little to no biology and chemistry background has been hard. I am not taking a math class this semester as I did poorly on my entrance exam and had to take a noncredit class over the summer to try and improve my skills.

The community is not very diverse, but what it lacks in diversity it makes up for in its kindness and welcoming attitude.
This is a small rural part of VT. The school is very flexible and go above and beyond to help students succeed, but it is within the limitations of the small town rural environment.
