North Summit has been Excellent. North Summit is a small 2A school. I have been able to be part of several different sports teams and clubs. I have been able to play basketball, volleyball, softball. My freshman year I was a cheerleader. I have been apart of different clubs too. I am also a member of my schools FFA chapter (Future Farmers of America) and high school rodeo. For my junior prom the high school gym is filled with people from the community along with friends and family to watch the junior class be announced with there date. Then the junior class preforms a choreographed dance that you practice for a few weeks. It is the coolest experience. But there have been some draw backs too. Where you live in a small town and go to a small school everyone knows every, people like to talk. Where you live in a town were everyone is related, and you aren't. People tend to pick favorites. This is what my experience has been at North Summit High School. I would not change it for the world.

North Summit is a great school because of how small it is. Being placed in a small town is one of the best things about it. The students and community are all so supportive of our sports teams because of this. There is never a night where the bleachers are empty at any volleyball or football game. Standing under the Friday night lights you can see the bleachers completely packed. People even end up standing around the field just so they can watch the game. Not only do we support the well-known sports like football, we support all other teams. Students often go watch our cross country or swim team. The support doesn't just go to our sports teams though. The teachers are willing to go above and beyond to help students succeed. At North Summit the staff and teachers are some of you biggest cheerleaders. Over all North Summit is an amazing school in a beautiful location and the support system we have going can't be beat.
North Summit gave me a wonderful high school experience, in my opinion. The number one thing that had stood out to me as I have attended high school here is my peers, the people who I have grown up with and have been shaped with. I believe that we all have been shaped in some way by our teachers at one point or another. With having such a small school we have had more one on one experiences with our teachers that some larger schools may not have. This alone makes me feel like I have a great student to teacher relationship. One thing that has caught my attention as a downfall of having this small of a school is some kids afraid to be themselves because everyone knows each other. This is something that has effected me at one point but as I have gown up, I have become comfortable with my peers and I don't have that fear of being different. Being a senior now I would say that overall I have had one of the best high school experiences at North Summit .
