The environment at north penn is really great! I love that they provide a lot of challenging classes like all the APs and engineering classes as well as tech school classes. I think within students the environment is really friendly and from my point of view I don’t see a lot of bullying but I know the experience is different for everyone; that being said, they do a good job dealing with bullying cases. I wish that budget wise they would focus less on creating a 9th grade center and more on improving the building we already have.
North Penn School District is overall an average school. We don't have anything that majorly stands out for specializes us, but we do have a lot of amazing opportunities and experiences you can have while at North Penn. Our Afterschool Clubs range from a lot of diverse options. We celebrate lots of cultures and languages to even ones about mental health or finding friends. Our school staff is also pretty satisfactory too. They have provided a back-bone for me, helping me learning and strive through even the most difficult days. Our college readiness could have some improvement because I feel we aren't fully prepared for professors and their way of teaching. Our food is one of the major things I feel our school lacks. We don't have the nutrition or protein that Teenagers like us need for a six hour school day, we need something more substantial. Overall, our school I feel is amazing place to grow in, and I'm happy for the memories and the journey I had there.
North Penn School District, all-around, is a great district that is quite diverse. I've been on both sides, as a student and an employee, and I've been pleased with my own education through the district and those offered to students today. There are plenty of resources and community outreach programs offered by the district to students and families, and family involvement is not only accepted but highly encouraged. Graduates exit the district well-prepared and ready for college.
