North Penn was my home for my whole school career. There were times that I struggled with the administration and I got very little help with my academic issues up until eleventh grade. If the student is struggling they try to push them to go to Northbridge. Very large environment. It sometimes feels like you get lost in the numbers, but the teachers at the high school care about every individual student and will do anything they can to help them out. They definitely prepare the students for college, no matter what area of studies. They don’t push trade schools very much, though they do push for the tech school starting in eighth grade for the students to attend starting their freshman year. For the juniors and seniors they do push Montgomery Community College on the students. They have many courses other schools won’t offer. Art programs as well as the AP classes are phenomenal. Loved my experience here and will always be proud to be an alumni!

The teachers at north penn high school are great! They really care about their profession and try really hard to accomadate every student in the classroom. Also, there are a lot of opportunities at north penn for each career that you could be interested in. You can choose to go to tech school that north penn offers, if it includes a class on the profession that you want to have; like cosmetology. Also, we have many arts classes, business, music, and even have a class for future teachers (me) where they teach preschoolers lessons! North penn high school is great and really cares about the students and everyone wants us to achieve!
North penn is a huge environment. Being said, there is room for so many courses, clubs and sports; including partnership with a hands-on tech school not too far away, A credit recovery school for those who’s GPA’s require a boost and Air Force funded JROTC. However there is also room for negligence, ignorance and discomfort. Because it is such a big school, finding where you belong is a bit tough, so they have put together a community building “link crew” system to assimilate each student. Our sports are amazing! Champs, I dare say. And the staff do what they must to create a better future for those who put in the effort.
