I like the vocational school and teachers. Agriculture, health occupations and childcare classes are great!
The administration at the high school has improved some this year but still room for imorovement. There seems to be a lot of politics and double stsndards based on the sports you play and your last name.
Overall BNl is not a bad school, but not the best.

Almost all of the teachers are excellent at teaching in a way that all the students understand, and are reasonable with the grading. Although, in a few classes, it feels like there are things that are weighted unreasonably. Another problem is there are a lot of students that feel their situation isn't being helped when they are having problems with other students.
North Lawrence Community Schools gives off the illusion that it does not value it's teachers. This is in part due to the fact that our corporation is underfunded. The North Lawrence Community School corporation is given less money per capita than any other corporation in the state of Indiana. It is hard to give off the impression that the teachers are valued when they are grossly underpaid. The gross underpayment of teachers leads to problems in hiring new teachers. When the corporation is looking to hire a new teacher they often offer the new teacher the classes they want while pushing the wants/needs of the on-staff teachers aside. However, the teachers in the North Lawrence Community School corporation, on average, genuinely care about the students. They truly want to students to succeed and they truly love to teach. Bedford North Lawrence high school has so many options for it's students. The high school offers anything from dual credit chemistry to cosmetology to Latin.
