NCCS (well, Hoover specifically) is an interesting place. The academics are robust for those who choose to take the hardest courses, and many of the teachers care for their students on some level. For someone merely looking for a good school building with good, informative classes in the core subjects, Hoover is a dream come true.

However, the students are inauthentic, shallow, and cold. The special education students are often neglected by their more typical peers, and isolation is an issue for anyone who is different than his or her peers, especially at the higher levels of study. A good portion of the student body is of one mind, and the price of thinking differently is scorn from others. If a person wishes to think and grow as a person and develop strong relationships rather than merely learn facts needed for a diploma, than attending Hoover is a great disservice to oneself.

The schools have really good environment and the teachers are very supportive. Plus, North Canton is a very cozy little town to explore yet have not too many distractions from school. Love here!
The North Canton City School District , in my opinion, is very good for all families. I love all the teachers there and everyone there is very willing to help. Any time I needed help with a subject or was struggling in any case, a friend of teacher was always there to help me out. If I were to change anything about the district, I would possibly add more opportunities (there are already a ton) and implement even more technology. The NCCS District has already done a great job with using technology, but there is so much more they could be doing.
