Nicollet Public School is very closed minded when it comes to change, including diversity in school, communication is not very good between administration and students, as well as minimal extracurricular activities. In my school, every student/parent has set views which seem to be very conservative. These views do not allow any sort of diversity in religion, sexuality, or race. Several students have reported these problems to administration, where they have been brushed over and swept under the rug. Communication is not a strong suit at Nicollet Public Schools. This is because students are not told about important information such as upcoming events like tests or college readiness updates. We are given little to no reminders about these events. Our extracurricular activities are very limited to only student body positions, National Honor Society, and FFA. I would like to see change for my younger sister, who will still be attending Nicollet Public School after I graduate.

I feel that because the school is so small everyone knows everybody and it’s easy to make friends. Sports are also a big part of this school so if your interested in sports I recommend it. There is not a lot of classes to choose from and not a lot of CIS class opportunities. Most of the time you do not get to pick the classes you want because it interferes with a core classes. The school spirit is high and activities are held often, however the activities are more for children and only a few activities are for high school students.
Great atmosphere, students are really fun. Students are really helpful. The bad thing is that administration sucks. They don't do their job and focus on other things.
