I like Newcomerstown High School, because I feel like I’m home when I am there. Everyone treats each other like a family and it overall has a good vibe. The teachers there are absolutely amazing, and they teach you but have fun while doing it. There are many positive leaders which help out a lot. One thing I wish would change is the amount of student and staff that go to sporting events or even play the sport. Our teams are usually low numbered and not many people get involved, but I believe with tour leaders we have they can change that and make more people want to participate.
It's been fun. The past 4 years have gone by very fast. Along the way, I've had a good and easy time with classes. And they offer college classes now! The school works with Kent State Tusc and Buckeye Career Center as well as Stark State. The teachers are amazing; and so are the staff! The food is okay, but I'm a very picky eater, so I pack my lunch everyday. The school clubs include sports involved, to school involvement, to including the community.
Love the personal touch that a small town school offers. Would like if they had an FFA program so I didnt have to go to the JVS.
