The schools in this district are okay. There is a little lack of diversity though. There are communities that are involved and the communities come together for events and all, but usually different ethnicities do not mingle with each other. The programs are nice in these schools. The staffs in these schools in the district are very helpful.
I attended district 30. my entire life. Although filled with great memories, I feel as if our education was not prioritized. Student involvement was lacked and the district could have done better to benefit the children.
I am a current middle school student at I.S. 227Q Louis Armstrong. School is pretty great but District 30 isn't. The nearby I.S. 145 is a major disturbance to our school. LAMS Students are regularly friends with kids at I.S. 145 and cause chaos.
