New Home Independent School District Reviews
The school is a wonderful place for anyone who wants an up-close and personal experience. Teachers dedicate endless hours of their time to make sure students are learning the material. Everyone in the school is friendly, and they truly care about the school. While there isn't much diversity, the school makes up for it with its academics. Every student is able to have a part in every academic event or class, including those that are extracurricular. The sports are well supported throughout the school, and coaches are dedicated to create great teams. The STEM department is also phenomenal, as there are many things in the field that students can have part in, such as TAME, U.I.L, Robotics, and etc.
New Home is a small community and the school staff is very much interested in providing a high quality education as well as encouraging all students to a higher quality of character. This is a family-first environment where students are safe in classrooms with a great teacher-to-student ratio.
Had a good 4 years there, and was able to have good classes. The teachers worked hard and the math and English departments were outstanding.
