I have been a part of the New Holstein School District since elementary school. I am personally not a huge school person but I love that in high school that you get to choose your classes with what you are interested in. There are a lot of helpful classes like personal finance, intro to business and marketing, and a lot more. Most of the teachers are super supportive and you can tell that they truly love their jobs. It has been updated a lot since I was a freshman and it sounds like they have a lot of ideas for the coming school years.
New Holstein School District focuses on many values I find important. They encourage students to do extra work if struggling, and provide extra guidance to students who may be struggling. The teachers at New Holstein genuinely care about their students futures and guide them not only in school work, but also offer help in areas such as questions on college or careers. One thing that New Holstein can work on however is their guidance in students futures. It seems as though the teachers know just as much as the guidance office when it comes to questions regarding college. Also, many students find themselves clueless on where to start regarding college applications, scholarships, etc. Nevertheless, New Holstein School District may have an open armed staff, the guidance and knowledge on students futures must be lifted.
I liked the way the school was run almost 100% off the time. ThIs small high school is good because you get to know everyone!
