USD 115 Nemaha Central is an exceptional and progressive district. It is a very exciting time at Nemaha Central and the momentum is outstanding. NCEMS has been awarded National Building of Character and the district has a 70% Effective Rate. The district was ranked the 10th Best District in Kansas, 7th Best Teachers in Kansas, 7th Best Place to Teach in Kansas by niche.com We understand that schools are about people and the relationships among those people. In our district, staff members strive to actively engage students in real and meaningful learning. Our students are taught a rigorous curriculum, based on high quality local, state, and national standards.

District Overview

The Nemaha Central School District makes up 225 square miles in Nemaha County. Please see the home page for links to each of the individual buildings’ web pages. The other communities that are served by USD #115 Nemaha Central include Baileyville, Kelly, Seneca, St. Bendict, and Oneida. The total student population is around 600 between the two buildings and including our Pre-School Program.
