Negaunee Public Schools Reviews

3 reviews
My education through Negaunee gave me the academic confidence that I needed to succeed in college. The faculty and staff all really care about each student and are open to hearing new ideas. The one thing that could have really helped me in my education would have been the opportunity to take AP classes, which were not offered. Furthermore, I think that the expectations for students could be raised in order to encourage students to think outside of the box and exercise their brains.

I attend the alternative school in this school district, and although I've had positive experiences, I wish the district as a whole put more of an effort to creating a positive image for our alternative choices, because the students who attend other options in the area besides public school get a bad reputation, and ultimately lose out on a lot of regular high school opportunities because we're not allowed to attend public school functions, their clubs, study groups etc.
The long standing traditions and high expectations are what makes Negaunee Public Schools a special place.
