I am overall pleased that I was able to study in the Neenah Joint School District. Especially at the high school level, my education was filled with teachers who are passionate about the subject they're teaching. I feel as though I have learned to the best of my ability through high school, and NHS did a brilliant job of supporting me.

As for middle school, many teachers were wonderful, but there were some that came up short. However, the middle school is split into 2 buildings: a 6th grade building and a 7th/8th building. I did really appreciate this. My 6th grade year was a smooth transition into middle school. Unfortunately, the state of the 7th and 8th grade building is outdated and way past the point of renovations.

The elementary school system in Neenah was wonderful. I still reach out to my elementary school teachers for their support or the occasional letter of recommendation.

Overall, the Neenah Joint School District has done a spectacular job with my education.

I would say that overall, my experience with my school district, has been very good. Most of our schools, with the exception of a few, have been well maintained and safe. I feel that all of the teachers which I have had over the years, genuinely care for the students and go out of their way to build personal connections with students. When there is an issue with safety, whether it be due to weather or student violence, the school district handles it in a manner that does not alarm students or make them feel uneasy. The administrators make sure that students always feel safe when they come to school. When there is a student or teacher tragedy/hardship, the school offers the proper resources and support for students and staff. Overall, I would say that the Neenah Joint School District is very good in most aspects of providing public education, especially compared to some other school districts in the surrounding areas.
I feel that Neenah Joint School District did a great job of preparing students for life. By installing career readiness grades, this allows those students who may not necessarily attend college their employers to see what kind of student they were in high school. This was still helpful for colleges when deciding if they wanted to admit a student or not. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed attending Neenah Joint School District. Compared with other students who I am friends with, I feel that I know more and I am more prepared for college!
