I loved my teachers! They were always there to help me out and do whatever needed to help me succeed. Nebo School District had one of the lowest budgets for their teachers/schools and with that they got pretty amazing teachers but everything else was pretty awful. The lunch food was garbage, and the bathrooms were all beaten up and gross. Not too much diversity in the small town of Springville, but not much you can change about that. I chose going to Springville over MapleMountain because of the traditions and sports. Theres clubs everywhere you go but the involvement at SHS was something completely different. The one thing I really disliked about SHS/Nebo is my counselors not preparing me for college. I would go in and talk with them but they never acted like they cared for my well being or my future. I left high school not knowing anything about my future or what I would be or could be doing.

I just moved to nebo school district and I have nothing but good to say about them! The whole staff has been amazing! I was a little worried to move my senior year but the school has made it so easy to make the change! Everyone is so welcoming, helpful and makes you feel apart of the school! It was very easy to make a new scedule at the school and to get all signed up in the classes I needed. It is one of the better school districts in utah in my opinion. The work load, hours, and days we attend school are the perfect amount. The staff has been very helpful in welcoming me, making me feel at home and helping me to have success.
My high school experience at Spanish Fork High was fantastic! The teachers were involved and highly engaged in educating the students. There was always an atmosphere of inclusion among the students and the principle always showed love to every student and incredible school spirit.
Facilities need to be upgraded. New schools are being built, but very little is being spent by the district to upgrade the older schools to provide the same quality as newer schools.
