This school district really does care about helping their students succeed and making sure that they're ready for the next level. The diversity in this district is amazing for I haven't seen before knowing that some school districts have a large majority of one race. It has given me so many opportunities that I felt so blessed to feel like I was in a place where I could feel accepted and not judged by the color of my skin.
I can't forget the school activities that occurred throughout the week! The sports, band, and clubs have allowed me to open out of my shell and go to these events and support not only my school but our district as well. I was even apart of my school's band, and I loved every single moment of it.
However, I can say that I wish that some of the teachers were more understanding to us students knowing how we all have different ways of learning. that's the only complaint I have with the district which says a lot about how much I enjoyed being involved with them.

I have been apart of the Natomas Unified School District since fifth grade and it has been an amazing experience! NUSD is infamous for the great diversity in their schools and that is what I love most. As a student of this diverse school district, I have not once felt alienated for my ethnicity. Everyone here is very accepting of racial differences and it's always great to witness all the different cultures everyone has to offer.
I’ve been in the Natomas Unified School District since I was in kindergarten and now that I’m a junior I see how some improvements could be made for instance I was on my lunch and I had went to the bathroom and the toilets have a little bit of water leaking from where you were to go and flush. Also I would like to see and improvement in making sure the administrators listen to the students about teacher a little sooner. Last year I had a poor math teacher and the school continued to have him teaching through the whole school year thankfully that had put him in a different school but one of my friends who told the administration that he wasn’t learning and his grade was very poor they failed to move him out of the class and instead he had switched to a charter school. Overall I can see the change in the school and I’m quite please to be honest. Other than those little mishaps this school is pretty good!
