Nampa School District Reviews
This year, the Nampa School District has implemented new use of technology in a way that aids their students by making it easier to learn and to grow in personal learning. The teachers of the Nampa School District are excited about the subjects they teach and give that love of learning to their students. The Nampa School District office, while being small in size, is efficient in helping you figure out what you are struggling with and they are always quick to respond to questions via e-mail or telephone. I love the Nampa School District!
I like the music and sports program at the Nampa School District. The teachers and students that go behind these programs all work extremely hard to do their best in support of each other, and their future. The biggest issue that the Nampa School District has is preparation and decisiveness. Over the last four years of being in high school, my class schedule has changed every year; sometimes twice in one year. I understand that there is usually the first rough patch when it comes to changing something, but the fact that the district hasn't been able to choose one schedule and make it work is ridiculous.
I moved from the Boise school district to the Nampa school district my Jr year and it was overall a good transition. Nampa has a lot more opportunities and very unique activities like sports, clubs, and the classes they offer. It was very different seeing what classes were offered here such as law enforcement and classes in the pro tech building. Something they can improve is the teachers they have are not the best and have caused problems for student. Another change that would help would be not using the 4 point grading system that doesn’t represent a students work in class.
