It was very easy to feel comfortable on campus, both in class and outside. There’s a lot of student involvement in the various clubs and programs, as well as a lot of student-run things. The majority of the teachers I’ve had have had a lot of intrinsic motivation in what they’re doing and it’s incredibly easy to see that they care. The school also offers students many opportunies to excel in various fields, whether academic or not, and provides good support through the academic and college counselors.
DO NOT LIKE THIS SCHOOL . TEACHERS ARE NOT HELPFUL AND STUDENTS ARE VERY CLICKY. THE FOOD IN THE CAFETERIA IS NOT VERY GOOD. TASTES LIKE CARDBOARD. THE CLUBS THEY OFF ARE GOOD. LOTS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUBS.
I am currently a junior at MVHS. I really like the high school experience I am having at Mountain View High School. The classes are hard but really prepare you for college and the AP tests. The teachers are really good in teaching and connected to the students. I probably like it better than the other high school in my area. I really reccomend going here for high school.
