I have attended Mountain View School District since the 4th grade, and I have never been failed as a student. The teachers work hard every day to try to meet the needs of all the students, and work to establish bonds within the classroom. Now, all schools have their bad things and great things. However, the good far outweighs the bad. One thing I would like to see change, however, is the school lunches. Yes, they want students to have healthier options. However, making lunches tastier would bring more kids to that lunch line to buy. Overall though, Mountain View is a fantastic school with amazing learning opportunities.

I would imagine no one can say they've had the perfect high school experience and neither can I. Some of the more serious issues I've had with the school involve the safety of us as students. Last year the students took a safety survey and from what I've heard lots and lots of students answered in similar ways. They don't feel safe. They hired a safety officer for the entire school and that was it. They had one in the elementary and one in the high school. The school board just only got barricades for the door this year when half way through last year everyone started requesting them. It was ridiculous to get them for the school so late after several schools immediately bought them for the safety of everyone in the building.
The district offers opportunities to learn and challenge oneself in most fields of high school study. The classes offer preparation for later education.
