Mountain View Elementary School District (El Monte) Reviews

I have mixed feeling about what I feel for my school. Some aspects a great like the AP teachers are really trying to get you ready for college. However I do feel bad for those who take regular classes. Many, not all, of the teachers do not really try their hardest to prepare kids for college or even life. Since I have always been an AP student, I have had relatively good experiences because of my math and English teachers that love their job and who's only aim is to make me successful in the future. Sadly, I, along with many others, hate how the money for a school is spent. The principle loves to give our sports department, especially the football team a lot of money. I would understand this if the football team was actually good, but they lose every game. Actually the only teams in our school who actually win games and tournaments are the boys soccer team and the tennis team. Overall, everyone and everything is amazing if you are in the AP system.

I grew up in the Mountain View Elementary School District in El Monte. I attended Baker Elementary and Alfred S. Madrid Middle School. I also attended Voorhis Elementary and Kranz Middle School for summer school. And I attended the federally and state preschool program in the the Mountain View District's Children's Center. In my opinion, Mountain View school district has some of the best teachers who really care about their student's success and who are very good at what they do.
