My experience with Mt healthy high school wasn’t the better until I become a sophomore in high school and decided sign up for diamond oaks which is a trade school. By going to diamond oaks and Mt Healthy being my home school it’s has really made a change in the environmental learning abilities. I feel like Mt Healthy should start trades school as a freshman. Mt Healthy can improve by be more flexible with students how are having a difficult times and school as far as troubling behavior, bullying and etc.
Mount Healthy City Schools has there faults like any other school would. My overall experience here was really good. There is a high turnover in administrators (principles). But the teachers are awesome, they really care, and they really want students to succeed beyond high school. The nice new facility with the new technology allows for greater access to different things to be accessible if we did not have this nice new building or access to the technology that they do have the ability use. The school really does try to do their best in every area. I was able to maintain the friends that I had and create new friends. The sports are awesome. We have amazing basketball and soccer team. But also just all around we have a good soccer, track, wrestling, and etc. It is a great environment to be in.
I liked the teachers loyalty to the students. As one of the lowest paying school districts in Hamilton county, the teachers were obviously not there for the money. There are a few student behavioral issues, but its mostly due to the fact that the students have a hard time connecting to their teachers. Work recieved by the teachers feels outdated and behind, even if they claim its "by state standards."
