Mount Carmel Area School District Reviews
Mount Carmel Area School District is a decent school district. It can't always afford all the luxuries other schools have for its students, but it does it's best to accommodate its students. Mount Carmel is also a school district that does it's best to support its students in their future goals.
Throughout the years that I've been here, I've gone through many ups and downs with this school. It is a relatively small school in a relatively small town. There are a lot of family-based connections in this school. I feel as though that leads to room for a high amount of unprofessionalism. The teachers at this school can be very helpful at times. Once I find one on one time with a teacher, things become easier when I try to fully understand a concept. I appreciate the fact that they won't give up if I don't understsnd something. One thing that I would change in this school, is the lack of diversity. I feel as though if there were more diversity, people would understand eachother more. Safety is a very widely practiced condition in this school. Just recently, we had a metal detector put in the front of our school. Make everyone go through the detector or make no one go through it at all. The STEM program is excellent. My classes may challenge me in a lot ways, but overall, it's fun.
Mount Carmel has great teachers, friendly stundents, and above average food. If I could change anything, I would change exam schedules, air conditioning, and give our school access to more advanced technology.
