This is my last year at Moses Lake high school in Moses Lake Washington. I have had a great experience at this particular school since I started as a freshman. I have played in varsity sports the last three years and have made so many sports friends. Our baseball team even won the state championship title in 2019. I am very proud to be a part of that . My dad being the head coach made a memorable experience!
I have made the best friends in my life at Moses Lake high school. Also, the sports coaches and teachers have made it a fun experience.

Our school district is very overcrowded. We keep adding new elementary and even middle schools but we have only ever had one high school. This is a problem. Some teachers do not even get their own classroom they have to wheel around on carts from classes where the teacher is on break. This results in a bad learning environment for students and a horrible teaching environment for the teachers. In fact, Moses Lake High School is the 7th largest high school in the whole state while Moses Lake is the 47th largest city in the state. We have over 2,300 students enrolled in our high school and only 25,000 in our city. We need another high school. Other than that, the school is good, the classes that are offered allowed me to excel, but as soon as I got the chance to leave the school for the running start program I took it.
I loved the support and the family feel of Moses Lake High School. I always felt important to my high school counselor Mr. Tarver. Whenever I had questions I would pop into his office or send him a quick email and I always got a fast response. I joined the Avid program and It was the best decision. The college and career center at Moses Lake High School was always an amazing place to get college questions answered. The teachers helped with financial aid, grants, graduation requirements, applications, contacting your college, as well as being opening helpers to connect and talk with about stresses.
