The academics at my school are wonderful. There are many challenging courses offered to students to prepare them for college. However, the school building itself is very old, but that is working on being fixed now with a new school in construction!

My experience has been a wonderful part of my path to success and helping me prepare for college. The teachers use many different ways of teaching from visual, physical and verbal methods allowing all students equal opportunities for learning. They use variations of technology from the just added Chrome Books and using the Smart Boards more often. The staff does all that they can in order to prepare the students and myself ready for college or any other paths into our adulthood. Morgan County School System,[High School], has many different clubs and extracurricular activities from FFA, DECA, Future Business Leaders of America, Art Club, and BEST club allowing students to find a club or activity to get involved in based on their interest. The sports portion of our school allows anyone to find a sport to get involved in, allowing many of our sports have had the opportunity to advance to State play-offs and competition because of the sheer dedication of all the athletic staff.
I was a student of the Morgan County School from kindergarten until high school graduation. In 12 years I encountered great teachers who always encouraged me to strive for excellence. In high school I participated in marching band, the morning news report, Latin club and played tennis. There were many more extracurricular activities to participate in. Our school motto was "One Morgan" we believed we were one family. I was able to develop close relationship with classmates and teachers. These experiences helped me to become a well rounded student.
