I enjoyed my experience in the Moore Public School district. I was in the district for 12 years. Kindergarden thru 12th grade. When I think back, I can remember all the great, compassionate teachers, administrators, principals, coaches, counselors, and office staff. I am proud to be an Moore Public Schools alumni!

I have been a student apart of Moore Public Schools for 7 years. I can definitely say that there is a wide variety of students coming from different backgrounds and ethnics. I have had a great experience over the years with some amazing teachers, and some not so great experiences. My 10th grade biology teacher, Mrs. Lang has by far been my favorite teacher of all time. I have never been a student that was fascinated with any sort of science. However, Mrs.Lang easily made my sophomore experience one of the best. I learned more than I ever have in any science class, and still managed to enjoy it while doing so. With the help of some of Moore's amazing teachers, I have had an overall great learning experience in the Moore Public Schools district. It is very apparent that these teachers have a genuine compassion towards their students, and want them to succeed. I am very glad to have had the Public School experience that I did with the Moore district.
My experience with Moore Public Schools was not a great one. I transferred to Westmoore high school from a small school, and I was shocked at how many people there were. The hallways were so packed during passing periods, and I would have to squeeze and push through people to get to class. My junior year of high school, I would have to walk all the way across the school campus to get to class outside in the "portable" that my class was in. I was late almost every day to this class. I think it was incredibly hard to make new friends because everyone already had their own friend group and friends that they had grown up with, and I knew nobody. I was not into sports so I did not have the chance to make friends there, and it was the same since I was not in any clubs. I also did average in academics so I did not stand out there as well. I would describe my high school experience at Moore Public Schools as very lonely. Senior year I would dread going to school at all.
