Montrose R-I4 School District Reviews

3 reviews
The school has a great atmosphere, with a small number of students; which allows for a substantial amount of one-on-one time. The school balances academics, activities, and sports well. At times, the administration tends to focus on "how it used to be" as opposed to how it should be. However, the school is on the path to success, and it truly looks to do what it can, to the best of it's ability, to prepare the the students for real life situations.

Montrose R-XIV is a small school, and because of it's size, there is a heightened opportunity to engage in students' learning. Again, because of it's small attendence, I wasn't offered many classes. I only wish that I could've taken classes of a scale that's more broad than core requirements.
Not enough variety in course work. Too sports driven. Not enough guidance in preparing for college.
