In the Montgomery Independent School District, every organization is fully supported by all of our teachers, administrators, and parents. Being a part of choir has been truly rewarding for me. This past year at our UIL competition, we earned sweepstakes with all of our choirs. In addition to this, the theatre department advanced to State and brought home first place! Our sports teams do well at their meets and tournaments, especially golf and softball. With all of these departments succeeding, it is evident that we all have a large support group back home pushing us to be the best versions of ourselves.

I moved out here and purchased a housse strictly for the schools. We have has several AMAZING teachers that have impacted my kids but UNFORTUNATELY since new administration in our school have lost several great teachers! Their is a kack of understanding for others feeling, lack of compassion for our kids, and and often feel like patents are not welcome any longer. Again this is gor our elementary school. As far as the 5th grade and middle school I have had amazing experience!
Montgomery School District is located in Montgomery Texas, and it is an up and coming city. It started small, but has grown to be so large, that they recently used a budget last year, and added a new junior high and elementary school. Next year they will have a new high school. Montgomery has many places to eat and shop, but not many big things to do. There are no malls, and the closest movie theatre is in Conroe. Montgomery is a tight knit community with many opportunities and activities for all ages. The schools have many clubs and activities, and there is local sports teams. However, Montgomery is a very conservative city, and you will occasionally see a confederate flag. pretty much every household owns a gun, and it is quite country in some parts. They have good schools that do excellent in UIL, and get results on tests. Many of the students who graduate from Montgomery end up going to top universities in Texas, such as A&M and UT.
