Montezuma Community School District Reviews
Great School! Very community oriented and great school spirit! Teachers are great and the facilities are above average. 10/10 would recommend but wouldn’t do high school again. Many options for students to get involved whether it be through sports, FFA or the Fine Arts. Community is great at attending events and making sure all those involved are supported. Great opportunity to take college courses not only online but also provided through teachers at the school. I was able to get in many credits before my freshman year of college thanks to that. However the school is not open campus and can be frustrating to those seniors who don’t necessarily need to be there all day and take worthless classes to fill in their schedule.
MONTEZUMA IS A VERY FREINDLY TOWN, AND THAT FREINDLYNESS SPILLS OVER INTO THE SCHOOL. THE TEACHERS ARE THERE TO HELP THE STUDENTS THRU SCHOOL AND LIFE. THERES A GOOD RESPECTFULLNESS BETWEEN THE STUDENTS AND THE TEACHERS. THE PARENTS ARE INVOLVED IN THE SCHOOLS ALSO. GREAT SPORTS AND ACADEMICS AT MHS!!
I have been enrolled at Montezuma since my Kindergarten year and it has been a home away from home to me. All of the teachers care about your well being and have a desire to help educate you in your years here.
Montezuma was an excellent place to learn and develop. Going to college was very easy after graduation.
It was the first school I ever went to. The teachers were interesting, but they had a few anger problems. The students don't normally get in trouble, but it happens every so often.
Montezuma is a great school to attend, from kindergarten to your senior year, the teachers are great, and we have a decent amount of academic opportunities. There is, however, more of a focus on the athletic side of high school here than the Arts, but that's more of a matter of preference than a bad thing about this school district.
the teachers take a real interest in you. the small school makes it easy yo get help one on one. really friendly people teachers and student a lot of opportunities and chances to take college courses
