I first transferred to the Monroe-Woodbury Central School District for the 5th grade, going into the middle school ready and prepared for the upcoming challenges thanks to the many great teachers in the elementary school that supported us every step of the way. The middle school was equally as great, if not better, but my experience was cut short as the district had experienced hacking in our system, and had to refrain any online-usage in the district. Soona fter, COVID-19 hit half-way through the year, until the 8th grade, where the teachers helped to revert back to normalcy. And before I knew it, I entered the high-school with confidence and the knowledge that this district had the resources and help needed for any possible times of hardship.
A great school district, with passion for student learning, early intervention to help kids with their reading and math. For a large school district, it is very organized amd well cordinated. Wonderful, and caring teachers all around!
My experience in Monroe Woodbury school is wonderful. I met new people that became my friends. I know talk to them every day. This year is going to be the best year because it will be my last one their. I will absolutely miss the teachers that are always their for you know matter what you. The teachers there try to cheer you up when they see you sad. The only thing I would like to see a change is, for teachers to get more involved with students that are afraid to talk to them with the truth. Some students might feel abandoned and lonely with no one to talk with. I see many teachers that try but, won't assistant them with help. That's the only thing that I would change.
