Monroe Township School District provides an overall excellent education. The teachers are friendly and approachable, and the schools are clean and have many amenities and options for sports and clubs. However, the schools have started to overflow with a new influx of residents in recent years, causing the middle school to add trailers for learning. Referendums to expand the high school and middle school have failed to pass, leaving the learning environment in the district overcrowded and not ideal. In addition, the district is lacking college preparation and information about scholarships and applications. As a rising senior, I feel I am a bit clueless about the college process and must use outside resources to figure out my college path.
I am currently a sophomore at MTHS, overall it’s been a pretty good experience. I have have some great teachers and taken some great classes were pretty good and standard. My favorite teachers have introduced me to so many new teaching methods and made lessons interactive and memorable, really challenging the classes critical and higher level thinking skills. Some staff however hold grudges and blatantly have favorites which is extremely bothersome and unfair to other students.
The school district is great! They are so helpful and they accomadate for any reason. The education is amazing and the teachers are carinv and understanding.
