My time at MHS was great! I loved singing in the choir and my relationships with my teachers. In addition, I took some IB courses junior and senior year and was able to earn some college credits. Those courses helped me become a better writer and I felt prepared for the workload and my writing intensive classes!

Minnetonka schools offer more than a child would ever need to reach not only their full potential, but their dreams. Everything and anything you may be interested in can be made a possibility to be involved in at Minnetonka High School. From Women's/Men's Rugby, to Optimist Club, every sport and club is offered. The clubs vary by different interests such as languages, volunteering, arts, science, government, and more. Another notable feature about Minnetonka High School is the academics and the resources. Students are able to choose the level to accommodate to their particular level of skill and desired challenge in any specific discipline. No matter the choice, each student is given equal opportunity to excel and learn the course material in a very effective manner. The teachers are respectful, educated, and very professional. These are some of the many reasons Minnetonka is rated #1 in state, and I have been so lucky to experience all of it.
Open enrollment is out of control. Students have unusable lockers as distance is 2far or no lunch as the lines are 2 long. Parking is insane. Schoology is inaccurate & teachers use it differently.
Due to huge # of kids competing for spots on Varsity teams, class size is over 1,000, child has a .01% chance of making A varsity team.
Our taxes are sky high. We have paved every road, curbed every corner, paid every cop directing traffic in/out and bought IPads for all students, regardless of City. Mkta schools are 30% residents so not a neighborhood school with friends nearby. (65% ARE NOT from Mtka)Our taxes prove it. We’re leaving after graduation as we are done with the entire mess. Completed yearly surveys won’t matter; no changes
