Mineral Wells Independent School District Reviews

I did like how Mineral Wells provided a new atmosphere that is fairly secure for being a 4A school. I wish the school could have some remodeling, stricter authorities to get drugs, foul language, and corrupt morals out of the school district.
Four years of my life I have spent at Mineral Wells High School, the academics, athletics and organizations have all made significant impacts on my life. However, in order to make the high school experience more enjoyable for all students no matter their interests or goals in life I feel that the school district should better encourage and promote student involvement. No matter it be cheering on the football team or making posters for the UIL academic team, I believe that if Mineral Wells High School offered peer mediation classes or helped students gain the confidence to stand up for a cause or club they believe in that all students that attend the school would be better off now and in their future.
Many of schools supplies and health codes are very outdated. Unfortunately due to the demographic and economics most of the money goes into sports and they are currently canceling most of the art and technology classes. The wealth of this small community is either rich or poor their is hardly an in between.

Great school to grow up through. Many councilers and teachers that help the students throughout grade school and their future after graduation.
Mineral Wells ISD is just a great school district to be a part of. You make life long friends and have a great experience doing so. The schools are great but they could be updated.
Mineral Wells Independent School District is an environmentally friendly school. School spirit was a big aspect, everyone is super friendly and willing to help you out in the best way possible. It is committed to building a community of life-long learners in a student-centered climate. MWISD offers numerous academic and athletic extracurricular activities. The school district works with Tarleton State University and Weatherford college to bring dual credit classes and professional development opportunities to its students.
