Calaveras High School has really helped to shape me into the person I am today. Because of Calaveras High School, I become more confident as a person, and now, a natural leader. Although there were several fights and incidents within the four years I attended, my overall experience was positive. You don't only learn academically, but also personally, discovering who you are as a person. There are many staff and students who are willing to help you, all you have to do is ask! I'm thankful to have attended Calaveras High School and create memories that will last a lifetime.

The social studies department at Milpitas High School is good, but the science department needs work. Majority of the science teachers do not care about their students enough. They give way too much work and grades very harshly. While, the majority social studies teachers are kind and entertaining. The math and english department are neutral, as in they have both good and bad teachers. Some teachers from either department are exceptional or terrible. On the other hand, the campus itself is easy to navigate around. The students are free to hang out anywhere during lunch and break whether it is in the classroom or outside. As for the student support, most councilors try to help the needed students. They also send out email weekly to notify students of free scholarships, work, or internships opportunities. Overall, students can have a decent time here, especially ones who like to study social science. While students who seek good science classes do not.
