Midlothian Independent School District Reviews
This school district has very good programs for helping everyone in the school achieve to their highest level. We have AP, Dual Credit, Regular, and even classes for those struggling to understand concepts in math and science. The district offers several willing tutors, the teachers work excellently with the students, and overall the academic environment is remarkable. The only thing I would change is the strict restrictions on the food in the cafeteria, not only providing little diversity and healthy options for the students, but preventing student organizations from selling products not approved by the district's food system. Other than that, the district is incredible and will provide any student with a very valuable education!
Midlothian is a great place for academics. The professors are all well-educated and carry with them, a sense of pride whenever they teach the new generation. The knowledge I received here has done more for me than I could have imagined for college. College readiness is a scary subject when you are facing the time for graduation, but rest assured that in Midlothian, you will be prepared! For me, college is not easy, but I know from experience that this School district has better prepped me for college than any other school could. If you or a loved one ever has the privilege to attend the schools Midlothian offers, be sure to be grateful for the immaculate education you or another will receive in the Midlothian school district.
Very conservative school district. Not the most accepting students and faculty. The extracurriculars are excellent, and well funded. Although budget for extracurriculars is very bias. Towards the beginning of my experience, nothing but the sports programs were appreciated, but as I grew so did MISD. The community started to appreciate the arts more than they ever had before. Bullying and drugs were kind of an underground problem, but the faculty seemed to get a hold on that. There are some teachers that are exceptional, and who love their students as their own. Those are the teachers that stand out. There is always food for those who can not afford it. That always brought me much pride
