Strong academics and teachers.
Poor diversity and cafeteria food.
There are many clubs and course offerings, but certainly much to be improved upon.

Throughout my time in the Middletown Public School system, I was always challenged and pushed to learn more or do more. There are excellent clubs and sport teams to participate in and lots of classes to help you get ready for college. There were a lot of AP courses which helped me get a feel for what a college type class might feel like. I think that Middletown Public Schools did a great job helping me with my education and getting me to my college.
In terms of curriculum and completing it, I'm sure the district did a good job, but I feel like there is too much focus on just that and not actually learning. This could be an observation for all schools in any district, but I feel like the most I have gotten out of a school system is to get good grades and not truly remember the content, of which doesn't help in real world situations that we actually need to learn.
