Mid-Praire is an outstanding school with faculty and administration stat truly cares about the students. All levels of the district are full of top-notch teachers and administrators who live and love to help others, especially students. Thanks to a strong relationship with area businesses and families, the school has access to resources that other schools of its size do not. The sports teams are generally average to good, with an exceptional, if under appreciated, fine arts department.

Teachers really strive for every student to reach their full potential, and high involvement in school activities is encouraged. Facilities need to be updated to meet the needs of students along with an increase of diversity.
I small school district that is very good at involving the community. While most of the district is rural it feels like most people end up knowing one another and feel like a community because of the size of the schools and community involvement. The one on one time with excellent teachers is very nice and there is not a lack of resources at Mid-Prairie even though it is a smaller district. The music programs are excellent and are generally on the rise in popularity and "success" (Making it to the Iowa Jazz Championships the past few years, top 3 at a marching band contest, consistent Division 1 ratings at Band and Choir contests). Drama is also growing. The plays and musicals are always great, but seem to have outgrown the facilities that we have available to use. Some sports have done well but none too poorly. Mid-Prairie is an amazing school district based on my experience.
