We’ve had some amazing teachers and administrative staff at the elementary, middle and highschool levels while at mid Del school and have made some lifelong friends. The resources though at many of the schools are limited and the students don’t always have the opportunities and exposure that kids in other districts receive.
I like that there are so many ways for you to get involved and make new friends. They are many clubs, organizations, and electives that you can join/ participate in in order to branch out. They make sure that you also have fun while you learn by having different events and activities throughout the school year. Most teachers are very approachable and will work with you when it comes to their work. Being able to have that connection with a teacher has many benefits.
I have been in Mid-Del schools since Pre-k3. Yes, I started at 3 years old in a program they had. The teachers and administration are amazing to have worked with and shared experiences with. The district spends money where it is needed, Midwest City and Del City High Schools have both recently got new stadiums and fixed up their gymnasiums. They invest time in both students and schools.
