Metropolitan School District of Mount Vernon Reviews
What I like about Mt. Vernon, is the small classes. Since it is in a rural area it is not a big high school. The small classes provided more one on one learning with the teachers. What I would like to see changed would be the dress code and the unfairness it goes against mainly women.
I have attended Mount Vernon Schools my whole life and I would have to say that it has been the best years of my life. My favorite thing about our schools are the teachers. When I have a problem or just need some advice about something going on in my life they will help me out no matter what. The students here are also intelligent and know what they want as a career and will be attending college once they graduate. My overall experience here has been great and I wouldn't have wanted to attend any other school district.
I like our competition between classes. We decorate our hallways with crazy themes and show a lot of pride and school spirit.
