Methacton traditionally a great SD: Average class size, parent support. ed resource and variety clubs.
Inclusivity, did not mean -no bullies. My child: white male involved in philanthropy, school spirit and varsity athletics experienced episodes of "bullying". The "blips" over the years were significant. I do not feel racial stance; but challenges (make us stronger)
I hope parents can continue to TEACH & LEAD their kids. Golden Rule.."Do to Others as you want to YOU". Descrimination has been related to: POLITICAL diversity, cancelled culture, and lack of teacher (some) passion for job. COVID has really "shown" that. Some teachers do put students first. Teachers are ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEES. They must think beyond the self reflection; but to the student. MSD -NO IN-school learning since March 2020. Parents are leaving jobs or losing income to be home and teach their kids. MHS - board and teachers union/majority decided chaos & threaten a strike. I give -3 star at BEST.

Methacton was a very good place to learn throughout elementary and middle school, pushing you to do your best, stay active, and be the best person you can be. In high school, it was very different, some would say good, some bad. Personally my experiences through high school were great, met so many people and took classes to get me ready for college. Missing high school so much now!
I currently go here, Its honestly great. People are saying there are 'unaccepting groups' or 'cliques' but what I think the problem was that you were intermixing with other grades. Most people tend to stick to their own grade with friends, younger people tend to be less mature and annoying. So that's probably why, teachers are good, there are always going to be the annoying and bad teachers but overall their great. There are tons of groups, some pretty pointless but they're still there. Tons of sports as well, I believe the only major sports we are missing are Ice Hockey and Kricket. The school overall is sort of outdated based on structure. Technology is up to date always but the schools themselves are a bit old, but that comes with a school that was built in the '60s.
