Meridian Independent School District Reviews

3 reviews
I went to Meridian Elementary School from third to sixth grade and loved all the teachers. Each teacher cares about the well being of their students and has a passion for teaching! Because it's a small town, there's a tight knit community. Going into high school at Meridian High School I felt the same community. The coaches care for their athletes and want them to succeed, both academically and athletically. I had some of the best teachers in high school, even after coming up on my third year in college. By the time I graduated in 2015 I felt like I was leaving family at that school. Meridian Independent School District gave me a small town community that I will always be thankful for!

Classes are small and teachers care. Athletics needs to be improved, but the coaches were always encouraging and helpful. Underfunded, football is everything. Great art program and computer program.
Meridian is a good school. I have gone to this school my whole life and I am glad I have. In my freshman year of school I was a varsity cheerleader and in the band while doing sports. I love the teachers there and everyone is nice as long as you do what you are told. I have grown to love this school but I am also happy to be leaving it.
