Melrose Public School District Reviews
All of the teachers want you to succeed, and also want the very best for you. They prepare you very well for the next step, which is college. Melrose Area offers many college level courses a student can take. I have made many friends that I will keep for the rest of my life. I am so sad that my final months were taken away and I will not be able to make the final memories with the friends that became family. All together the teachers are wonderful, especially the social department. The social department is where almost all of the students' favorite teachers come from. They engage the classroom and know how to make learning fun and interesting.
At Melrose it is a very close community, everyone is very friendly with amazing staff. The school is well known for the successful sports programs which keeps many people very busy. Overall, Melrose is a wonderful school with great students.
The environment around accepting different types of students is terrible. The faculty for the majority is bad at teaching. After tenth grade I decided to go to college, mainly because of the students and teachers. didn't receive very much of an education except for in math,of which I was a part of the fast track group. I wouldn't recommend this school, but to each their own I suppose. I try not to be negative, however, Melrose is a part of a small group of people who don't like outsiders.
