Melissa Independent School District Reviews
There are many opportunities for students to learn and succeed. The athletic programs are some of the best in the state for the 4A division. The teachers and coaches are devoted to helping students achieve greatness. Honors and Dual Credit classes effectively prepare students for higher education. Teachers and most students have pride in the school in district. There are more than enough resources for students, and the schools are safe environments.
Amazing teachers who show they genuinely care about the students learning, and their students over all. Staff takes great care of the buildings and ensures safety for everyone there. They take bullying, mental illness, and abuse very seriously, if anyone at school was ever experiencing one of these things, they could take to a faculty member and have it dealt with immediately.
I love the support that everyone in the community has for the benefit of the students. It doesn't matter if its a volleyball game or a football game, you can expect a large turnout of students and parents. Students and parents drive to every game which can be up to 30 miles. The school is of very good quality in academics and cleanliness, as a new high school was opened this year. The administrators and teachers are always willing to help their students achieve success. They always have open doors throughout the week for tutorials to help students.
